We are an award-winning walking tour company with a host of well-trained and highly-acclaimed tour guides who want to share their passion for Dublin with you. We keep group sizes small to ensure you'll experience Dublin in its own unique way.

We are delighted to be back in Business!

Following Government guidelines we are beginning our special tour programmes for domestic customers on 29 June and our public scheduled tours on 10 August. Our groups will be smaller so we can practice necessary hygiene and social distancing.

Pat Liddy's Walking Tours of Dublin: Docklands - The New Old Dublin

This walking tour shows a lesser-known part of Dublin and explains why geography—including its location on the water—is so essential to Dublin's identity and infrastructure. Native Dubliner and historian Pat Liddy trains guides to lead small groups to pivotal parts of the city that demonstrate why Dublin is his favourite place in the world. By revealing not-often-seen parts of Dublin, including former shipping docks, a U2 recording studio, and the headquarters of contemporary tech giants like Google, this tour illustrates how the city's past and present are intertwined

The Best of Dublin

Discover the best of south-city Dublin and enjoy intriguing architecture, history, events and stories right back to its Viking & medieval origins during this 2 hrs and 20 mins long tour. Dublin has so many great and well-known locations, each with its own fascinating tale. During this great tour we will also skirt past many obscure places that will either leave a smile on your face or come as a complete surprise. Starting close to the famous Molly Malone statue, the walk will meander past the former 18th century Parliament House and Trinity College, Ireland’s oldest university, before wheeling around buildings, streets and laneways with their own engaging stories on the way to Dublin Castle. Then, along by the extraordinary Chester Beatty Library, to the grounds of medieval St Patrick’s Cathedral and then to the even older Christ Church Cathedral. But it’s all the other treasures and tales that you will encounter that help to make this journey so memorable. Stories and mementoes of Bram Stoker and his Dracula, Jonathan Swift and Gulliver’s Travels, yarns about Vikings, knights and ghosts and of George Frederick Handel’s very first performance of his most famous choral work, Messiah, in a Dublin music hall in 1742. And, as they say, much more besides! On a Pat Liddy Walking tour, you will also receive a free visitor map and guide and discounts in Dublin’s oldest café, Bewley’s, in the Church Bar/Café and at the EPIC Emigration Museum.
