Terms and conditions

Credit card payments in favor of Walkingtours are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as PAT TOURS on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.

Quotations

All rates/quotations are at the discretion of the company. All rates are subject to change. The company must honour any quotation issued in writing within 6 months of travel.

Payment

Any deposit requested must be paid by the date stated, and payment in full must be made before the walking tour, unless otherwise agreed by the company. The company reserves the right to refuse any pre-paid passenger who does not supply the relevant documentation/voucher to confirm their payment. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult: as such no child ticket can be issued independently. All tour reservations are subject to availability.

Group Bookings

The purchaser acts on behalf of all passengers travelling on the tour.  If they do not intend to travel a representative must be chosen, and the company informed prior to starting the tour. If the purchaser is a company, group or partnership, an individual must be named as a responsible person. Where a copy of these or any other conditions have been given to the purchaser at any time, or advised verbally of all the significant terms, making a booking will be deemed to signify acceptance of them.

Departure and Delays

Departure times, locations and tour dates are subject to change.

The route used will be at the discretion of the company.

The company gives its advice on journey time in good faith. However, as a result of breakdown or traffic congestion, or other events beyond the reasonable control of the company, journeys may take longer than predicted and in those circumstances the company will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the hirer as a result.

Refunds Policy & Cancellation Charges

For our scheduled tours: We will offer a full refund if a cancellation is received outside 72 hours before the tour but no refund within 72 hours of the tour.

For our private tours we will offer a full refund for cancellations received at least a week before the tour commences, and a 50% refund if the tour is cancelled within 7 days of the tour commencing.

Customers are entitled to a full refund in the event that the company cancels a tour.

Cancellation by the Company

In the event of an emergency, riot, civil commotion, strike, lock out stoppage or restraint of labour or on the happening of any event over which the company has no control (including adverse weather and road conditions) or where three or less passengers are travelling the company may, by returning all money paid and without further or other liability, cancel the contract.

Complaints

In the event of a complaint about the company’s services, complaints should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the termination date of the tour.
