Our walking tour of Dublin brings us through the heart of old Dublin, in to the marrow of the city that has provided the heart and soul to many film productions over the years. Along the alleys of Dublin you may be fooled to believe that you are in a New York back alley which has been used to replicate in many film productions.
Step back in time to Georgian and Victorian times when we show you streets scenes that have been captured in current live productions such as Penny Dreadful & Ripper Street along with famous productions like Becoming Jane and Neverland to name a few.
Apples & oranges cries an old women who is selling her fruit and vegetables off her stall, as did her mother and mother before that. On one of our last great gems the traders of Moore Street fight against the supermarkets and co-ops that are slowly marginalising their piece of Irish history. This is captured in the critically acclaimed Mrs Browns Boys who led by its main leading “lady” Agnes Brown pitching her stall on this famous street.
Through the Northside of Dublin we encounter the treasure chest of delights that have drawn the movie and television elite to look upon Dublin as canvas that is rich in colour and steeped in tradition. Let our guide bring you in to this world and allow you capture and relieve moments that are reserved to film makers and viewed only on the screen.
