Gerry Cooley

Qualifications: OPW-trained Heritage Guide officiated at Kilmainham Gaol and The Royal Kilmainham Hospital (2007/2008).

Interests: Published Local History Talking CD "Voices of Santry" in 2004. Local and national radio contributor about local and Dublin oral history. Musician and artist, his mother's pride and joy, performs in local Dublin pubs. His collection of short stories Turn at the Pines will be published in 2010.

Experiences: Presenting National Heritage events at a local level in Dublin, collecting songs, poems and stories in the city of Dublin for the past two years. Broadcasting "Raised on Songs and Stories" six part radio show in spring 2010.
